I am a lifelong lover of libraries, and to be modest, I have visited quite a number of them. Yet, of all the libraries I have seen, the FUHSI Library is different. It captures the true spirit of a 21st-century library, not just a quiet place where books are stacked, but a vibrant space that actively shapes the intellectual life of the university.

What strikes me most is how the library engages the entire community. Students, staff and researchers are not left on their own; the library trains us in cutting-edge research skills, digital tools and scholarly hacks that make learning both practical and exciting. Add to this an updated collection, active subscriptions to world-class academic databases and a team of librarians who clearly know their craft. It is almost unbelievable that this belongs to a university less than five years old.

For me, the FUHSI Library has redefined what a university library should be. It is the place I know I can always turn to whenever things get complicated academically. In FUHSI, the library is not an option; it is the heartbeat of our intellectual journey
